TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL DATE FOR HE NAMED ME MALALA

Malala Yousafzai documentary will be screened at showpiece festival

He Named Me Malala will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.

 

Davis Guggenheim’s much anticipated feature doc, produced by Image Nation, tells the story of Malala Yousafzai who was shot by the Taliban after speaking out about educational rights for girls in her homeland of Pakistan.

 

Malala went on to become the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 at the age of just 17. She continues to campaign for the rights of women and girls across the world.
