THREE IMAGE NATION FILMS SHOWCASED AT THE FIRST ANNUAL ZAGREB ARAB FILM FESTIVAL

From A to B, Seashadow and As One: The Autism Project take centre stage in Croatia

From A to B, Seashadow and As One: The Autism Project were screened at the first annual Zagreb Arab Film Festival this weekend in Croatia.

The Arab Film Festival is a project created by the Croatian Arab Friendship Society which intends to primarily combat discrimination, racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance, as well as to provide an introduction to Arab culture and the way of life and destruction of stereotypes often formed on Arabs through western media.

Furthermore, the festival and society strive to present Arab cinematography to the Croatian public and introduce and showcase the latest achievements created in Arabic speaking countries. Alongside the two Image Nation feature films and documentary, audiences enjoyed films from across the region, including Tomorrow We Will See from Lebanon, Villa 69 from Egypt and the Oscar nominated Omar from Palestine.
