Image Nation Abu Dhabi brought its upcoming feature film THE WORTHY to the Middle East Film and Comic Con at the weekend.

THE WORTHY, is set in a dystopian future which has been plunged into chaos due to a chronic water shortage. The story follows a small group of survivors seeking refuge with the only clean remaining water source in the area. When two visitors infiltrate their compound, they soon become pawns in a test for survival, where only one of them shall be chosen worthy.

During the convention, fans could visit the films interactive booth where they could watch the fast-paced teaser and play a series of games to find out if there are ‘Worthy’ enough to win some special prizes. Fans could also interact with a social media vending machine – allowing Instagram users to post and receive prizes.

On Saturday morning, Image Nation hosted a special panel, with director Ali Mostafa, producer Rami Yasin and stars of THE WORTHY Samer Al Masri and Mohammed Mostafa. They took to the stage to discuss the film and revealed a teaser trailer, exclusive to Comic Con audiences.

The film is slated for a release later this year.
