HE NAMED ME MALALA PREMIERES IN NEW YORK

Star-studded event leaves those in attendance inspired by incredible story

 

He Named Me Malala has Premiered in New York.

In front of a star-studded audience which included the likes of Scarlett Johnasson, Alicia Keys and Hope Solo, Malala joined her father Ziauddin and the film’s director Davis Guggenheim on stage for a post screening Q&A.

Following the event, those in attendance described it as ‘inspirational’ and ‘humbling’, with many taking to social media urging other to go an see the film when it is released next month in the US (November in the UAE).

He Named Me Malala is being released by Fox Searchlight Pictures, in association with Image Nation Abu Dhabi, Participant Media and National Geographic Channel. The documentary was produced by Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald under their long-term partnership with Image Nation, and also produced by director Davis Guggenheim.
