Ali Mostafa’s road trip comedy ‘From A to B’ was released in theatres across Italy today, making it the first Emirati film to get a theatrical international release.

Last week, director Mostafa travelled to Rome, Florence, Milan and Bologna to promote the film, hosting special screenings of the film, with question and answer sessions with audiences along the way.

Co-produced by twofour54 and Image Nation Abu Dhabi, the ‘dramedy’ follows three friends on a road trip from Abu Dhabi to Beirut to honour the death of their childhood friend. The film and all its promotional materials have been dubbed in Italian for the region.

The film had its world premiere at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival in 2014 and is now available to download on iTunes Middle East.
