Continuing on a spree of award wins and festival screenings, our AFS Alumni have won three international festival awards for their short films created under the narrative and documentary programs.

Over the weekend at the Sharjah International Film Festival, Nada ElAzhary won the Best International Short award for her film 1-0.

Overseas, two AFS alumni won award at the Southampton International Film Festival – Unspokenby Samia Badihwon Best Sound in a Documentary and Swapna Kurup picked up Best Directing in a Documentary for her film  Ranapakhara.

Our AFS films continue to excel in international film festivals, and have now screened over 250 times at prestigious festivals around the world.
