1990 World Cup documentary now set for regional Premiere on December 1

Anwar Roma (The Lights of Rome) has enjoyed a World Premiere at the prestigious DOC NYC in New York.

The documentary tells the story of the 1990 UAE football team that defied the odds to qualify for the World Cup in Italy.

Following the screening of the film, fans were able to put their questions to filmmakers Ali Khaled, Hana Makki and Stevan Riley.

The film will be released in the UAE on December 1.
