Our mission is to help build the foundations of a strong local film industry in the United Arab Emirates.

We accomplish this both through our local and international activities.  While we develop projects and talent within the UAE, we support them through vital international partnerships and investments.
 
At Image Nation Abu Dhabi we are developing a robust slate of Emirati films, including the coming of age story “Sea Shadow”, released in November 2011 and horror thriller “Djinn” scheduled for release in early 2012.
 
The division will also lead a number of initiatives geared towards developing local talent both in front of and behind the camera, including internships and casting programs.  These programs leverage our international partnerships by pairing local talent with some of the best creatives in the field.
