H.E. Maryam AlMheiri
Her Excellency Maryam AlMheiri is the Chief Executive Officer of both Media Zone Authority – Abu Dhabi (MZA) and twofour54 and H.E. is responsible for leading MZA’s strategic agenda, aiming to build a sustainable media industry that contributes to the economic and cultural development of Abu Dhabi as well as positioning the emirate as a regional hub for media and entertainment.
In her capacity as CEO of twofour54, H.E AlMheiri plays a leading role in increasing engagement and collaboration between the government and private sectors to grow and develop the media industry, and encourage public-private partnerships within the industry around the world to serve the needs of the growing Middle Eastern market.
H.E. is a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council’s Economic Development Committee, responsible for developing the overall economic sector in Abu Dhabi and encouraging local and foreign investment. She is also a board member of Abu Dhabi Media Company and a member of the Abu Dhabi Investment Committee, and the higher committee overseeing the 2019 Special Olympics World Games which will take place in Abu Dhabi.
H.E. AlMheiri has held senior positions in a number of UAE entities, including Thuraya Satellite Telecommunication Company and the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research.
H.E holds a TRIUM Global Executive MBA jointly issued by New York University Stern School of Business, London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC Paris School of Management. She also holds a Masters in Strategy and National Security Studies, issued by the National Defense College in Abu Dhabi, and completed her undergraduate studies in Accounting & Business Administration with distinction and honours at the UAE's Higher Colleges of Technology.
